Yeah! Guess what? Got my checkered bag today! But it's kinda small. I expected it to be somewhat more bigger than this. Oh well, nice anyways, if a little on the small side. Given that I had to travel to CityHall at 2:30, to Tampines later at 5 and then back to Bugis at 6, I can't complain.
2:30 for the VK group outing. Supposed to be practising the dance at Esplanade carpark but we got chased away halfway through. By a policeman (CISCO man, technically) to say the least. Scary, sia. SO we went to the Citylink area there where Mats and Breakers usually hang. Abit paiseh but what to do? Meki (C.S) was so damn sick he couldn't even talk. He had an infection that affected his arm, vocal cords and stuff. My gosh, I think it's serious. Totally can't talk.
Anyways, after that went to Tampines to collect my bag from phoenixity. yeah. Stuffed my slind bag (and its entire contents!) into that small bag. Managed to do it by sheer force. hahas. Then went back again to Bugis to help my cuz window shop at 6. Ate at KFC first then went arounf Bugis Street. I tell you, my hand were DAMN itchy to buy stuff. So cheap!!! But as usual, I'm on a budget and I need to put a restraining order between me and my money. 100 yards maybe. A lot of nice stuff were $10 only. Kak Nur bough a black half cropped cardigan. I bought nothing. Then went to Bugis Junction to browse and try stuff. Not me. Her. I'm too paiseh. Paiseh, paiseh ah. But it was fun. We went into Fox, Topshop, G2000, BHG, Giordano. Kak Nur tried on some at Topshop and G2000. But the price is like...*insert whistling here*. So we''l think about it first. haha. Went home around 10 or so cos' the shops were closing. Okay, I think I've covered all the bases. And yeah, I saw Vas and Pris at Bugis. Cute, but not as cute as on TV. *_*

- messing around with www.puricute.com

CGH tour was pretty insightful. I got a lot of so-called "inside" info that you usually wouldn't know. Like the practicals we usually have are basically useless - just to make us understand the concept only. We visited the Bioengineering lab, pharmacy and tech labs. Pretty cool. Especially the histology part. We actually got to see real body parts. hehehe *rubs hand in glee*

After the CGH thing, me , Nad and Zuu went to eat at Simei Banquet, then we wandered aimlessly looking for something to do. We finally decided on playing pool and bowling. Okaylah, quite fun, but there were a few spoilers. Like not having enough lanes. No time to play pool. Yaddayaddayadda. But the day was redeemed by...

NEOPRINTS! (but my scanner not working...*_*)

So fun. Next time must "ajak" Linn. Wokay' gotta go sleep now. Bloody WaterTech excursion tomorrow.

Damn. There's nothing in life that interests me much anymore. I'm at that stage again. Looking for the meaning of my life. I can't type anymore. This is too depressing just thinking about it.

Do you believe in Santa?
Cos' I don't.
Candy can be sweet...unless you're...
HIV-positive.
LOL. I don't know what I was thinking. I just suddenly had this idea to do X'mas themed photos. I had the mini-hats. I had the candy cane. So BAM!
Yesterday went to meet the VK group for our SOY discussion. But ended up doing nothing. *_*. Jason aka Souless, Qi, C.S. and me met up first. We spent like an hour trying to find a place for us to prastise the dance at Esplanade. But we didn't cos pai seh lah. SO end up we sit at carpark there discuss. We did dance a bit. But not really. Hahaha. Then after that we followed C.S. to go to Bugis to get his PSP back from repair outside Central National Library. While waiting for C.S. and Souless, we decided to just enter the exhibition just outside the library. The exhibition was about HIV. It was pretty inspired. You had to register and then they hand over an mp3. You listen to the mp3, following the tracks of the exhibiton as you go. Each visitor had a different path to follow - follow different people's lives. Then you go to the "clinic" to wait and you get your hand stamped. lols. I was Ah Hock and I was HIV-positive. In the last pic you can see the stamp on my hand - a red circle with a positive sign inside. (I still can't get the stamp off...)
Then after that we ate at Swensen's. hahah. Eat ice-cream only. I ate Celebrity Brownie, C.S. ate Merri Mint, hOnEy ate Sticky Chewy Chocolate, Souless ordered Ice Tea only. Qi didn't order anything cos' she was eating with a friend later. But we did share fries. You know what, in the end, Souless treat us. ^_^. At first, no lah. Then hOnEy go and like do something make C.S. pay. End up Souless pay. But then he say he treat us. O.o. dotz. But I still feel bad.
We all went home together except Souless. He had to go the other way. hOnEy played "hubby's" PSP, cursing in the MRT. I tell you, she's violent. Button-bashing as quoted by C.S.

There's gonna be a whole dearth of photos so giddy up!
Trinity Blood ftw. You can tell they put a lot of effort and money into the costume. Of course, they were rewarded for their efforts cos they bagged all whole competition awards.
Can see the detailing and stuff on the costumes.
And they did a great job on props as well. My jaw dropped as soon as I saw them.

Dusty is so bishie now! Dusty! I like her costume. Kinda reminds me of GE also. But then, the TB costumes rock also.
More wow.
Hahas. Random shot of some cosplayer all squished together. Can spot me?

Some of our VK members plus Zermine.
VK pwning the army personnel. lols.
Didn't like this shot that much. There should be some more pics of our whole group floating around somewhere.
hOnEy and Qi.
waaaaa. kidding.
Man, woke up at 6 yesterday to get myself ready. Ironed the uniform (which was useless anyways since I folded it. -_- ) Set out on 969 then transferred bus to EXPO. We were supposed to meet at 9 but only me and Qi came at that time. The rest were late. We decided to head to the halls first and wait. Whereby we saw the TRINITY BLOOD team!!! Love at first sight. They were busy getting ready. I guess they needed to come early since their costumes were like ...*speechless for lack of satisfactory words to describe lush detailing on gorgeous outfits*...
When they came and prepared, we went in. (event started at 11 but we dilly-dallyed here and there, so we went in at 12?) Man, I felt like such a noob. But I was so keyed up and excited. the feeling is indescribable. We went round and people started asking for pictures. *yay* But little did we know, that 1 photog would sprout into many photogs. After one suddenly like got more. We were like stuck in our pose, smiling for ages. (My mouth cramped and I think the picture would look ugly or insincere to the photogs. Sorry, we didn't mean to look unfriendly.)
Well, we are new at this so we are not used to posing and going in character at all times. But we didn't take many. Mostly is hOnEy running around taking people's pictures. There were so many nice things I wanted to buy. waaa. But in the end, only bought the wig. The group performances were awesome! (TB again) But towards the end of the day, the event wasn't that exciting, though. Too little things to do in a small space.
But anyways, the feeling you get being surrounded by fellow cosplayers. The detailing, the costumes. The feeling of cameraderie. *pop* But then, back to reality, it was exciting but sadly, lacked a certain funness among everybody. Maybe, I just don't know them yet.
