Incompatible, it don't matter though
'cos someone's bound to hear my cry
Speak out if you do
You're not easy to find

Is it possible Mr. Loveable
Is already in my life?
Right in front of me
Or maybe you're in disguise

Who doesn't long for someone to hold
Who knows how to love you without being told
Somebody tell me why I'm on my own
If there's a soulmate for everyone

Here we are again, circles never end
How do I find the perfect fit
There's enough for everyone
But I'm still waiting in line

Who doesn't long for someone to hold
Who knows how to love you without being told
Somebody tell me why I'm on my own
If there's a soulmate for everyone
If there's a soulmate for everyone

Most relationships seem so transitory
They're all good but not the permanent one
Who doesn't long for someone to hold
Who knows how to love you without being told
Somebody tell me why I'm on my own
If there's a soulmate for everyone

Who doesn't long for someone to hold
Who knows how to love you without being told
Somebody tell me why I'm on my own
If there's a soulmate for everyone
If there's a soulmate for everyone

Went out with my bestie Farah today. At first, wasn't really up to it cos' it was raining and stuff. Honestly speaking, it was dull. Even duller cos' we were broke (I was, totally). No dough, no show, man. I didn't even have twenty cents to rub together. It was absolute torture. And we saw a lot of great bargains. WTH?! A nice white, collared women's shirt in my style for $5, shoes on sale, a cheap, double breasted vest that I had searched for for ages ($19.90!!!). I was positively itching to withdraw money. Farah was too. We were almost screaming. Farah said that if it was MNG sale, she'd go mad or something. So many bargains, and we're flat broke. Well, not really flat out broke, Farah needed to buy earpiece for Izzat and A DVD-RW disc. But other than that, we didn't spend on anything else. We went round Toa Payoh and old Marsiling. Those are my new fave haunts for bargain hunting. But there was one stupid incident where the specific earpiece she was looking for was marked up by almost 2 times. From $19 where she bought it to $35. OMG. When she said she had bought from Causeway at $19, the person just went like *_*. WTH?! $19 to $35.
But we ended the day quite well, discussing about our future venture. A exclusive boutique cafe with a runway. She manages the shop business, I'll design and Izzat will do the F&B. There will be a mini-runway to showcase our designs. A cafe for enjoyment of food. And no size 0 model, please. Bigger people are welcome.
We're serious about this.

OMG. Such a droolworthy specimen...>_<...oh, wherewasI? hehehe...Don't know why I'm suddenly blogging about this today. I guess because I saw The Dark Angel website. I've been lusting after the items from so long. And the best thing is, they have an international office in Singapore. The only one other than the UK base. YAH! But, as usual, no money. I think I might want to buy one when I am working. Hopefully, they'll wait for me!
Gorgeous wine-red lined bustle jacket.
ooh-la-la. One of my faves. The corsets are to faintbutnot-to-die-for. And for steel- and plastic-boned corsets, they're SUPER cheap. I am so in love with the Renaissance, Victorian, Goth, whatever-you-name historical periods. Even medieval or fantasy (think LotR ;p).
Anyways, about the past few days. I saw Priya at the Tamp Int. I was so surprised. She looked different. But we waved at each other. lols.
Went home with Farah that day too. Missed her lots and lots. But kinda ran out of topics to talk about. Eventually, we did talk about something. Still managed to follow our usual routine of talking all the way to the destination even then.
Had OC quiz today. Okay, but could've done better. Well, HAP up next. Good luck to me.

I saw something today that shocked me to my core. I'm still thinking about it. It freaked me out but it made me think. I actually cried. And now I don't feel very much like eating.

It was the video of a baby born with "harlequin type ichthyosis". Subhanallah. It's a horrible thing to go through. Imagine the pain. The baby's appearance is shocking, but you feel an ultimate sadness at the futileness of the situation and the power that God holds over the universe. There was a story that went with the video. Something about not being grateful to God and appreciating what He gives you. When I saw that baby, I was horrified beyond belief. But I felt sad too. I thought of God. I cried. I researched and saw the condition the baby has, as I typed above. A few other examples came up. The babies were pitiful.

But there was one story that gave me Hope beyond all else. An 18-year-old boy had this condition lived, even became a triathlete. When the mortality rates were almost zero for this condition, he strived to live beyond all odds. Even through the hard life and pain that this condition brings. Allahuakbar.

I'm thinking that it's better for her to go to God early cos' God loves her more. She shouldn't suffer from her parent's mistakes. She hasn't sinned. Well, for me, I deserve any punishment God gives me, for I have sinned alot in my lifetime. I don't deserve to be in Heaven for I have done nothing to be worthy of it. Anyways, it still haunts me. A life lesson that wakes me up to reality. I know, in time, I will forget. But in this life, everyone needs reminders that God is always there and that we should not succumb to earthly sins - Greed, Lust, Envy, Sloth, Pride, Gluttony and Wrath.
Amin.

YAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
So many things happened.
On Friday, Sya and her RP friends "crashed" TP. lols. They got a bit lost in ENG school on the way. But anyways, we managed to find them, Farah and me. We ate at Flavours, chatted and took a mini-"tour" of the school. Not much to show, really. TP is the smallest poly. Who can I blame?
But still, I don't feel the old cameraderie between us. I felt awkward and lost. Farah had Nuraini and Sara. Sya had her RP friends. And I? I was just... There. When I left, I felt bereft. I felt apart, even in the lectures, sitting beside Nad and Linn.
When I went home, waited for Sharm. She wanted to wait for Noel, her new "attachment". Met Farah at the interchange. She decided to wait for Sharm's Noel to accompany me, though she was already in the 969 line. Made us wait so long. WTH. Anyways, had a long heartfelt chat with Farah in the bus. As was the norm when we haven't met each other for some time. Lasted the whole bus trip. lols.
But I felt no connection with Sya. sigh.

Back from my slumber. *yawn* Obviously, I have not studied. Obviously, I'm not doing anything. Obviously, I don't deserve to waste my parents' money. But then, who does? Okay, found out something very shocking today that left me disgusted and forever altered my view on certain people. No guys, I'm not gay. Not that gay anyways. For confidentiality purposes, their name shall remain a secret. I heard that some people were deliberately bullying and teasing a person who does not have any friends and seems a nerd. Exact word would be "slenger". They singled him out cos' they didn't like him following them around and thought him super "slenger". By rights, they are all also "slenger" except that they step macho cos' they are less "slenger". So, does it mean that I'm beautiful gorgeous if I'm less ugly than the ugliest person in the world (By the way, I'm one of the top contenders for ugly...)? No, right? Dumbasses. He doesn't have any friends for goodness sakes. You all are a bunch of pissyfaces. WTH? lemmespellthatout. YOU'RE-NOT-COOL. freaks. And that says something since I'm a weirdo myself. I know how that person feels, man. If you "perahsantan" about this article, FISH u!

Back from Cosfest. Have a slight headache. Incessant pounding. "You know when your head goes BOOM BOOM BOOM?"...hahah. I still can joke. Anyways, reached Cosfest very early. The main tent wasn't all that full of booths but there were a lot of people milling around, taking pictures and stuff. As usual, I was alone and feeling overwhelmingly awkward. *_*. The GE forum people that I was supposed to meet didn't show up except for rundaria who was cos-ing VK. I watched the performances though. lols. Only a few were really memorable, but I must still applaud them for their great costumes. There were a lot of great cosplayers going around. *envy* Too bad I didn't bring the camera. I got no money. Even for batteries. Absolutely NO money. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Resisted the urge to withdraw money though I was super hungry. Damn. At least, tomorrow I will have my weekly allowance.

Ok, time for an update. On Friday, me, Nad, Lin and Zuu went to eat at Arnold's. First, we wanted them to deliver but they had backlog orders so we had to wait a few hours, maybe 2. But, we decided that we might as well go there. So we travelled to City Plaza. We finished eating WAY slower than other people. Even those who came after us. lol. But I must thank Zuu, Nad and Lin for lending me the money first, I promise to pay u back the rest. I felt bad for doing so, but I could not pick up the habit of withdrawing money as I please. But I cannot rest my conscience until my debt is paid. You guys are way too good for me.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why? Why?! Of all the things. VK 5 is out! Checked out Comics Connection, so ecstatically took the book and then...
not enough money. *_*
Whatthebleh.
I was so anticipating the smell of new comic book. The excitement of turning the pages as the drama of my favourite manga unfolds. Damn. Short of $0.50 only...I was so tempted to use my ATM card. But I resisted. I knew that if I started doing that alot, I'll eventually get addicted to using it. So...NO. Now, I have to wait until next week. Actually I could have gotten it, but they increased the price. GST much? Now, I'll torture myself just knowing that it's out already and I can't buy it. Wait for me, my love...
Ok, something else happened today that made me want to scoop my eyeballs out. *shudder* We were in CSAS and were playing a teamwork game. We didn't know at that time, (we did soon enough) but Alex was the "disturbance". Ruining our puzzle, confusing us. He was supposed to do that. When one of the pieces was missing, Zuu jokingly asked him to strip and so he wanted to mime pulling down his pants. But he actually did.
Exposing his underwear.
Can I say...
EWW.
TMI.
Anyways, I've learned that its the small things and pleasures in life that should be counted. And thus, I've resolved that as long as I have chocolate, GE, books and loved ones - I'm happy.

If people's acetaniline crystals are going to be destroyed, I am at fault. Shit. Anyways, I need to study. I'm slacking. Got my yukata from my aunt in Japan and a new monitor, which I paid for. I need to stop emo-ing. Life's too short. Can't care what the freak' people think. Must not. I miss the four musketeers. I want my old life back.

I hate this. I have sunk to the lowest of the low. This is not who I want to be. Callous, shallow, undeserving, fake. I might not look like it, but I feel like it. I feel so awkward in my own skin. When I go out, I feel so weird, so sick of myself. I don't even deserve to cry. I feel so guilty so unsure. So faithless. I mean, I believe in God and everything, but I feel like everything I do is wrong somehow. I can never see myself the way other people see me. I have my good days and my bad days. Mostly, I feel like I'm a freak. I should be locked away for good. Away from myself and people that shouldn't be tainted by the likes of me. Maybe, today, I feel especially sensitive about it. Maybe, I'm weak. Life feels like it's just a meaningless routine. I'm sure it has purpose. Maybe, not yet. Maybe, not now. But, soon. I should help myself. But the compulsion to do it fades. The awkward me is the only me I know. As me. And thus I should change my mindset. God is great. God is Almighty. My belief in God should overcome any obstacles that I face. Insya'allah.

YAY!

I got my Vampire Knight uniform already! Yes. yes. YES! Met up with Asumi just now at Cityhall at 8. Money and bag changed hands. Now it's mine. After that, went to school, tried it on in the Business School toilet. Lesser people. It fits. I was most worried about the pants, since I have a big butt. But it fit nicely. Only the shirt and the jacket were a tad too big. A bit. Kinda. *sigh* It looks okay, but then it kinda ruins the elegant slim image I was looking for, given my short stature. I'm not a tall, handsome bishounen ok? I have to make up for it in other ways. So I think I'll get it altered. If not, it kinda spoils things for me, you know? So I'm a perfectionist. YOu wouldn't want a short, baggy vampire, would you?

Went to my former workplace again today. MNG Centrepoint. To return the taxi money cos' we had no receipt. Anyways, Mama was not there already. So sad. I thought this was her last day. Maybe it was yesterday. *_*. Anyways not many of the family were there. I saw only Fiyonn, Neri, Derrick and at the last moment, Tan. I spoke to Fiyonn. She was very nice. Even advised me on how to claim the receipt back. But sadly, I do not know the license plate no. Anyways, I know company policy. But I didn't stay long though, 5-7 mins tops. Aww. I think I was too in a rush to get back to school. (I was still supposed to meet Nad and Lin at school....I was late.) My bad. Aww. But most of them were OFF so I couldn't get to see them. GRr.

Printed some stuff in the PC Lab. Went through a dark corridor accidentally cos' I got lost on the wrong floor. Scary. Had PIPC lab today. Zuu didn't come cos' she was late. So sad. Wasted the trip here.

Hey, it's me again. Finally worked up enough energy to blog.

Whoever said fainting was easy obviously never fainted before. Whatever you see on TV, them doing it at the drop of a hat is most probably not fainting. For one thing, it makes you feel like shit. After you've come to, it feels as if you've been hit by a ton of bricks. And then some. Yesterday proved that.

I went for the NDP "Largest Human Singapore Flag" rehearsal yesterday at the Padang. The turnout was better than expected they said. The grid was filled up really early. But we couldn't join yet because we had to wait for the other TP schools to come. WTH? We had to wait for quite some time. And it was hot. Very hot. The rehearsal was a bit lame, but fun. Only because we laughed at the antics of other people. After we were dismissed, we went to eat at Burger King after we got lost a few times. I ate a Whopper Meal, and Nad, Lin and Zuu ate Mushroom Swiss Meals. Two Singles and 1 Double. I played the "chilli-ice" prank. Which Nad fell for. (Sorry, Nad.). lols. I managed to keep a poker face so they wouldn't suspect. Yay for me!

But soon, we had to part. All went in different directions on the MRT track. The train via Jurong East was super packed, there was only standing room. I was stuck standing near the doors, where everybody seemed to want to crowd in despite the many people. At Yio Chu Kang station, I was already feeling a bit uneasy. I felt like I wanted to get out of the train, but I didn't. As the train was leaving the platform, my eye started twitching. Once, twice. Then quite violently for a few more times. And then I don't remember any more. Next thing I knew, I was on the floor. I really though I had been asleep. Then there were these blurry sea of faces around me. Then I realized, shit. My hands and legs were numb. I tried to curl my fingers but I couldn't. They were kinda frozen in place, half-curled. Someone reassured me that we were getting off on the next stop, Khatib. Cos between Yio Chu Kang and Khatib was a long way. Then they carried me out. The MRT personnel asked me whether I was prone to fits, whether this had happened before, did I want an ambulance. I said no except for the had I fainted before question. I thought about last year at NTUC. Thank God for these good Samaritans. Especially the one who was with her boyfriend. She helped me to Sembawang and called my house and all that. Luckily, she was living near my area also. I didn't want to inconvenience her too much. After a while, I could move, but I was still feeling a little dizzy. I think I looked half-mad, like a drug addict or worse.

Then my sister came to pick me up. I had to stop every few benches and rest. I debated on whether to take a taxi cos I didn't feel up to walking all the way home. Then, I was like "no taxi, what the heck, let's go that block before I can't take it". Really, I think I was being a pathetic wimp. I think I was making a big fuss about myself. Poor sis. But I really felt like shit at the time. If it wasn't dizziness, it was nausea. Then we waited for my mum to come at the next "pit stop" and she applied medicinal oil. It was burning me awake. Really. After that, the feeling subsided and I was mostly okay. Then, I went home and slept. Seriously, of all the times I fantasized that fainting in front of a handsome guy or a romantic swooning, this does no justice. I guess in reality, it's far less romantic. Maybe they faked it.
